Salquin: “After an… unfortunate situation, caused by an obnoxious purple-clothed female, I was crushed beneath much debris of the destroyed lab. And during said event, a steel rod punctured my lower abdomen.
Unlucky as I was to be impaled by the metal, I was fortunate enough that it only damaged my diaphragm. For you simpletons out there: the diaphragm is the organ used to force the intake of air into the lungs. With my diaphragm damaged, this made breathing exceedingly painful as I dragged myself from the collapsed laboratory. Once I had pulled myself back to my home, I began working on this mask, made from a repurposed aqua-breather, to take air in to my lungs without the need for my diaphragm.
I still recieve some pain, but no longer to the point where I feel I wish to no longer continue living.”
"As for my scar, I received this after I barely escaped Thaumanova Reactor incident by hiding in a Hazmat Suit. Keep in mind, I was on the outskirts of the site. Had I been in the facility, not even a Hazmat suit would have saved me.”
